The table below shows the PLX-Benchtop calibration processes and their recommended frequencies. CORSICA will prompt the user to perform each calibration when necessary.
The machine set up operation and profilometer calibration ensure that the signals produced by both the LVDT and the profilometer are being correctly converted to heights (z values) and that the relative (x, y, z) locations of the indenter tip, LVDT and profilometer tip have been correctly established.
