Correlates the signal of the LVDT with the crosshead displacement to ensure that the LVDT is working correctly.

Quarterly.
Working Distances

Finds the height positions of the indenter tip and profilometer tip. This allows the Plastometer to move efficiently between operations whilst minimising risks to the profilometer and sample.

Working Distances and LVDT calibration sample. On installation and when the tip is changed.
Profilometer Correlates the profilometer signal to an indent of known dimensions.  The full calibration is carried out over an extended portion of the profilometer range. This ensures accurate measurement of indent profiles Profilometer calibration sample which contains an indent of known depth. If lost or damaged, contact support@plastometrex.com Every 3 hours or if the top casing temperature changes by 2.5°C.
