LVDT reading too high

Error Code 402: LVDT_TIP_DID_NOT_RETURN_TO_IDLE_POSITION

Meaning:

Triggered when the LVDT reading is expected to be close to zero, but it's higher than 10 for regular CORSICA and 30 for HotPIP.

 

Troubleshooting Steps: 

  • Check that the LVDT is not pressed/stuck when trying to start an operation.
    Move the CH up if needed.
  • Check that, when pressed, the LVDT responds as expected. 
  • 'Balance' the LVDT when it is at its rest position so it is close to zero
  • Re-do the 'Machine Set Up' in the 'Tools' tab 
  • Check hardware set up and connections.
