Using Advanced Indentation Parameters

Modifying indentation velocity, dwell time, and test type

With Advanced Indentation Parameters enabled, the following indentation parameters can be modified:

  • Indentation Velocity: Controls the rate at which the indenter moves into the sample during testing.
  • Test Types:
    • Load Controlled: The test is performed up to the specified load value.
    • Depth Controlled: The test is performed up to the specified indentation depth.
  • Dwell Time: Determines the duration for which the indenter is held at the peak load during the test.
